Malay Heritage Center

The Istana Kampong Glam was built 162 years ago by Sultan Ali, the son of Sultan HusseinShah. Today,the estate is home to the Malay Heritage Museum.

Its nine galleries showcase the history, aspirations and role of the Singapore Malays towards nation-building.Be enthralled and enchanted by the seafaring might of the Bugis people,regalia of Malay royalty and golden years of the Malay entertainment industry.

Celebrate the achievements of our Malay artists who have earned international accolades. Artefacts, muitimedia displays and realistic dioramas bring the life the stories of the Singapore Malays from the days of our earliest settlers.

Open:

10am - 6pm (Tue - Sun), 1pm - 6pm (Mon).

Admission:

SGD 3 adults, SGD 2.00 children.

Culture show SGD10 adults, SGD 5.00 children

Guided Tours:

Must call in advance for guided tours, SGD 2 extra per person.
